<p>The present invention provides a technique which can correctly measure the positions of inner cages that can move relative to an outer cage frame in an interlayer distance adjustment type double-layer elevator. The interlayer distance adjustment type double-layer elevator (10) of the invention is provided with the following components: the outer cage frame (11) which moves vertically; a plurality of inner cages (12) which are equipped in the outer cage frame and move in the outer cage frame; a cage distance adjusting unit (13) which causes the plurality of inner cages (12) to vibrate in a linkage manner, thereby adjusting distances among the plurality of inner cages (12); and a first inner cage position detecting unit (14) which detects the position of each inner cage (12) relative to the outer cage frame (11).</p> |
