<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication device that prevents deterioration in an RF characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: An optical communication device 100 comprises: an LD chip 11; an input terminal 72 for inputting a signal to the LD chip 11; a TEC 60 in which electrode posts 65, 66 are disposed outside of a first plate 61 mounting the LD chip 11; and a package 70 including a side wall 73 at an optical output side and a side wall 71 which faces the side wall 73 and at its side the input terminal 72 is provided. The TEC 60 is disposed within the package 70 in a relation in which the electrode posts 65, 66 are disposed in a gap part 78 between the first plate 61 and the side wall 71 which is at the side where the input terminal 72 is provided, and includes a wiring board 80 on which wiring 83 electrically connecting the input terminal 72 and the LD chip 11 is provided at a position of the gap part 78 excluding the electrode posts 65, 66. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
