<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thermoplastic resin composite member, in which at least two thermoplastic resin members, each of which has such an orthogonal constitution that a horizontal part thereof has a perpendicular crossing with a vertical part thereof, are welded to each other by hot plate welding to produce the thermoplastic resin composite member and to provide a production device which is used in the method for producing the thermoplastic resin composite member.SOLUTION: The method for producing the thermoplastic resin composite member comprises the steps of: arranging the thermoplastic resin members WA, WB each having the horizontal part and the vertical part between a lower tool 1 and an upper tool 2 while interposing a hot plate 4 therebetween, and pressing the thermoplastic resin members to each other by the upper tool 2 to heat/melt the contact surfaces thereof with the hot plate 4; and removing the hot plate 4, again pressing the thermoplastic resin members WA, WB to each other by the upper tool 2, and welding them to each other to produce the thermoplastic resin composite member WC. The upper tool 2 comprises a first divided body 2a and a second divided body 2b. The first divided body 2a has a horizontal surface and an inclined surface, which are used for pressing the horizontal part of the thermoplastic resin member and the second divided body 2b has an inclined surface to be slid along the inclined surface of the first divided body 2a and a vertical surface for pressing the vertical part of the thermoplastic resin member.</p> |
