The invention discloses a passenger flow management system for managing a passenger flow to limit the elevator waiting time. The management system comprises a detecting device (1) configured to detect elevator passengers in a detecting area (2) outside a building (4). The passenger flow management system can be operated to generate an elevator calling request according to information obtained from the detecting device (1), and can be operated to cancel the registered destination call if the passengers leave the elevator car early at different destinations. |
