PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that can reduce a risk that a vehicle having a terminal device mounted therein is tracked.SOLUTION: An RF part 52 reports a packet signal and receives a packet signal reported from another terminal device. A processor 56 generates a packet signal to be reported, and processes a received packet signal. A mode setting unit 110 selects a first mode or a second mode as a reporting mode. In the case of the first mode, the RF part 52 sets first transmission power, and in the case of a second mode, second transmission powder lower than the first transmission power is set. In the case of the first mode, a processor 56 contains in a packet signal an identification number uniquely allocated to the terminal device 14 concerned, and in the case of the second mode, the processor 56 contains in a packet signal an identification number which is commonly allocated in an inter-terminal communication system. |
