PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel fine algae useful for the production of biofuel, functional oil, functional (health) food, feed for aquaculture, or the like.SOLUTION: The present invention provides fine algae selected from (a)-(d), characterized by comprising functional oil such as linolenic acid, and producing fuel oil of 18% or more of its dry weight: (a) Chlamydomonas sp. TA-1; (b) Nanofrustulum sp. TA-2; (c) Tetraselmis sp. TA-3; and (d) Chlorella sp. TA-4. |
