<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit loud noise or an abnormal sound from being generated from an automatic feeding and reading device. <P>SOLUTION: A rubber part 153A formed of rubber is provided at a portion opposed to a separation pad 154 out of an outer peripheral surface of a separation roller 153, and a low friction part 153B set to make a friction coefficient smaller than the friction coefficient of the rubber part 153A is provided at a portion that is deviated in an axial direction from the rubber part 153A out of the outer peripheral surface and also opposed to a pressing spring 156. Thus, since the pressing spring 156 comes into contact with the low friction part 153B without coming into contact with the rubber part 153A, a large frictional force is not generated between the pressing spring 156 and the separation roller 153 even though the separation roller 153 rotates in such a state. Consequently, since the vibration of the pressing spring 156 is suppressed, the noise or the abnormal sound is inhibited from being generated from the sheet feeding device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
