Provided are a composition for preparing a polyimide-inorganic composite material, and molded products manufactured from the composition. The composition for preparing a polyimide-inorganic composite material comprises: polyamic acid represented by chemical formula 1, polyimide represented by chemical formula 2, or a mixture thereof; a precursor of an inorganic matter; and water. The polyamic acid or the polyimide is a reaction product from dicarboxylic acid dianhydride and diamine having a molar ratio of 0.93 to 0.95 for diamine to the dicarboxylic acid dianhydride. A fixed amount of the precursor of the inorganic matter is contained to provide 30-60 wt% of the inorganic matter for the composite material per total weight of the polyimide-inorganic composite material.
