The present invention relates to a seat track for a vehicle seat and a roller for the seat track applied thereto, the seat track comprising: a lower rail having a lower roller guide surface; an upper rail having an upper roller guide surface corresponding to the lower roller guide surface; and a roller which is interposed between the lower roller guide surface and the upper roller guide surface and performs a rolling movement, wherein the roller is integrally formed by alternately arranging at least two contact rolling parts and at least one non-contact rolling part along the axial direction, the at least two contact rolling parts being in contact with the lower roller guide surface and the upper roller guide surface upon rolling, and the at least one non-contact rolling part having a smaller radius than the contact rolling parts, thereby not being in contact with the contact rolling parts upon rolling. Accordingly, it is possible to significantly reduce a portion contacting the rail and achieve a smooth sliding movement by converting conventional line contact type rollers to point contact type or partial line contact type rollers. |
