<p>The present invention relates to a basic amplifier (20A, 20B) comprising an input (12) and an output (14) and including: - a control circuit (22A, 22B) for receiving the signal to be amplified; - a main amplification branch (24A, 24B) comprising a first amplification transistor (32A, 32B), the output of the control circuit (22A, 22B) being connected to the control of the first transistor (32A, 32B); - a first linear feedback loop (26A, 26B); and - means (28A, 28B) for inputting a compensation signal into the input of the control circuit (22A, 22B), the inputting means (28A, 28B) comprising a second feedback loop (38A, 38B). The main amplification branch (24A, 24B) comprises a single member capable of operating in non-linear mode and connected between the overall power supply voltage (V+, V-) and the output (14) of the amplifier.
