Disclosed are a locking control method using a direction of a touch and drag event and a system thereof. The locking control method comprises the following steps of: managing direction information used to release a locking mode; checking a drag direction of a touch and drag event generated on a touch screen in the locking mode; comparing the checked drag direction with the direction information; and releasing the locking mode when the checked drag direction is matched with the direction information. |
