The present invention relates to a food waste discharge device to allow each household using a common food waste treatment system in an apartment house to inject and discharge food waste. The present invention provides a new type of a food waste discharge device using a method to open and close a cover by transmitting a power of a motor using an electric upright structure made from a bolt, a nut, and a compressive spring. As such, the present invention significantly reduces an overall size of the device including electric drive components, specifically, a lateral size of the device; and allows efficient installation and use of the device in a narrow sink. Additionally, the food waste discharge protects the motor against a load caused by foreign substances jammed around a cover as a sensor controls a stroke of the bolt and the nut when the cover is opened and closed, and the power of the compressive spring supports the opening and closing of the cover. |
