The present invention relates to a transparent resin, a preparation method, and a resin composition. Provided is a transparent resin having excellent processability and weather resistance during a roll-mixing milling with a polymethylmethacrylate resin with improved impact resistance while preventing a decrease in transparency by adjusting the difference in refractive indexes between layers to be constant. The resin composition comprises; an acryl-based rubber core including an alkyl acrylate compound and an aromatic vinyl compound; an external layer including an amine-based monomer; and an activating solution free shell including an alkyl methacrylate compound and at least one aromatic vinyl compound or an alkyl acrylate compound.
