The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a metal chalcogenide nanosheet, capable of manufacturing a chalcogenide nanosheet of molybdenum having a relatively large area and a thin thickness less than several molecular layers with a simplified process. The manufacturing method of the metal chalcogenide nanosheet comprises a step of forming a chalcogenide nanosheet of molybdenum by performing a hydrothermal reaction for a molybdenum (Mo) precursor, and a sulfur (S) or a selenium (Se) precursor inside an aqueous solvent in the presence of aliphatic alkyl amine having 1 to 5 carbon atoms.
