The present invention provides a sunscreen in powder form comprising (i) vegetable oil, vegetable butter, wax or mixture thereof, wherein vegetable oil, vegetable butter and wax are present in a total amount of from 1 to 25% by weight of the sunscreen, (ii) one or more UV absorbing materials, wherein UV absorbing material is present in an amount of from 10 to 40% by weight of the sunscreen, and (iii) one or more UV reflecting materials, wherein UV reflecting material is present in an amount of from 30 to 85% by weight of the sunscreen, (iv) one or more anti-caking agents, wherein anti-caking agent is present in an amount of from 5 to 25% by weight of the sunscreen.
