The present invention relates to an apparatus for discrete Fourier transform (DFT)-based channel estimation for a sidehaul. The apparatus for channel estimation according to the present invention comprises: a transmission unit performing a pre-processing operation for an input signal, using a reference signal to perform resource element mapping before the input signal passes through a single carrier-frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) signal generator, and then transmitting the input signal via at least one antenna after the input signal passes through the SC-FDMA signal generator; and a reception unit performing SC-FDMA demodulation for the received signal, using a reference signal to perform a DFT-based channel estimation, and then compensating for the channel through a channel equalizer, thereby improving performance in light of a normalized mean square error (DFT), an error rate and a transmission rate. |
