A method and kit for detecting DNA methylation. In particular, the method uses enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to determine the degree of overall methylation of DNA from cells, tissue and serum. The method is easy to operate, has good repeatability, uses a small amount of DNA (can be detected at ng level), is convenient for quantitative calculation, and can achieve high throughput detection.
