Disclosed are a capacity-variable compressor and a control method thereof, a capacity-variable unit and an air conditioner. The capacity-variable compressor comprises a compressor body (11), a reversing valve (12) and a heater (17). The first end opening (121) of the reversing valve (12) is communicated with the first air suction opening (111) of the compressor body (11) through a pipeline (18); the second end opening (122) of the reversing valve (12) is communicated with the air exhaust opening (113) of the compressor body (11); and the heater (17) is arranged on the pipeline (18) for heating a liquid coolant stored in the pipeline (18). The stored liquid coolant is heated by heating the pipeline (18) between the reversing valve (12) and the first air suction opening (111) of the compressor body (11), so that the reliability of the capacity-variable compressor is improved. Also disclosed are a capacity-variable unit and an air conditioner including the capacity-variable compressor and a control method thereof.
