This solid electrolytic capacitor is provided with: an anode; a dielectric layer formed on the anode; and a solid electrolyte layer which covers at least a portion of the dielectric layer, and which includes a conductive polymer. The solid electrolyte layer includes a first silicon-containing component and a second silicon-containing component. The first silicon-containing component is at least one component selected from the group consisting of a first silane coupling agent, and residues of the first silane coupling agent. The second silicon-containing component is at least one component selected from the group consisting of a second silane coupling agent, and residues of the second silane coupling agent. The first silane coupling agent is provided with: a first substituent which includes a first functional group, and which is bonded to a silicon atom; and a hydrolytically condensable group. The second silane coupling agent is provided with: a second substituent which includes a second functional group, and which is bonded to a silicon atom; and a hydrolytically condensable group. The first substituent and the second substituent are different. |
