This line-of-sight input device is provided with a display unit (11), a configuration unit (12), a detection unit (15) and an input control unit (12). The display unit (11) displays an input item in a position visible from the driver's seat. The configuration unit (12) configures a virtual input region corresponding to the input item displayed on the display unit (11). The detection unit (15) detects the line-of-sight position of the driver. If the line-of-sight position detected by the detection unit (15) is within a virtual input region configured by the configuration unit (12), then the input control unit (12) performs input processing corresponding to the input item which is associated with the virtual input region. On the condition that a prescribed operation by the driver is detected, the configuration unit (12) changes the virtual input region in a way that makes it easier for the operator to direct the line-of-sight thereto. |
