Provided are a graphical interface-based file management method and system, the method comprising: a file management graphical interface is provided, the file management graphical interface comprising a folder establishment list, a file list and a folder status list, wherein the folder establishment list is used for establishing and displaying a folder using a folder name, the file list is used for displaying the names of files that are under the current path and have not been classified into a folder, and the folder status list is at least used for displaying folders under the current path; an association is established between operations to be performed on the files and folders, and actions preset by a user in the folder establishment list, in the file name display list and in the folder status list, and file classifications or folder operations are thereby performed conveniently. The present invention has the following advantages compared to the current software: an operation may be performed at any time on any disk path without having to switch to a desktop shortcut, content is displayed clearly, and files are moved and renamed very quickly. |
