<p>A girdle comprises a first band (2) and a second band (3), first and second pluralities of strips (4, 5) having respective first ends (4a, 5a) extending from an end portion (2a, 3a) of their respective band toward the other band (3), second ends of the strips (4b, 5b) being joined to respective first (6) and second (7) joining members. The respective end portions (2a, 3a) of the first and second bands (2, 3) are or can be folded back over the first and second bands (2, 3) respectively and comprise fastening members (15) for fastening the end portion (2a, 3a) in a plurality of positions along its band (2, 3), to thereby change the length of each band (2, 3).</p> |
