Disclosed is a switch element for initiating a switch process, comprising an actuation surface (2) for actuating the switch element, wherein the switch element is designed such that the switch process is initiated by the actuation. The switch element is also designed so as to require an electric current in order to initiate the switch process. The switch element has a tribioelectric element (3), it being designed such that the tribioelectric element (3) generates the electric current by the actuation of the actuation surface (2). The tribioelectric element (3) may be of especially flat designed. It may also be elastic or flexible and even transparent in design. It is thus possible to design the switch element so as to be entirely especially flat, elastic and transparent. The design options of the switch element are thereby improved. The tribioelectric element (3) also allows for very efficient conversion of mechanical energy into electric energy. It is possible for the electric current for initiating the switch process to be generated by light contact of the actuation surface (2), for example by gently passing thereover. |
