Disclosed is vacuum fault interrupter (1, 1') comprising a housing (2) formed by housing components (5, 6, 7), and parts (8, 9, 10) which are inside the housing and conduct current in a connected state of a contact system (13) of the vacuum fault interrupter (1, 1'). In order to further develop a vacuum fault interrupter of said type in such a way as to provide same with enhanced properties in respect of the current carrying capacity, the current conducting parts (8, 9, 10, 12) are surface-treated in such a way as to radiate more heat. Also disclosed is a method for producing a vacuum fault interrupter of said type. |
