The present invention relates to a wireless power transmission apparatus for performing communications with a wireless power reception apparatus using a plurality of slots. The wireless power transmission apparatus comprises: a power conversion unit for transmitting a wireless power signal to the wireless power reception apparatus; and a power transmission control unit for performing communications with the wireless power reception apparatus using the wireless power signal. The power transmission control unit performs the following steps of: receiving control information from the wireless power reception apparatus within any one of the slots; transmitting an ACK signal to the wireless power reception apparatus in response to the control information; and allocating the any one slot to the wireless power reception apparatus to perform communications with the wireless power reception apparatus using the any one slot when the ACK signal is received.
