A fiber-reinforced composite structure, such as a cross arm for use in the power industry, having a rectangular outer cross-sectional shape and an inner hollow core having a curvilinear cross sectional shape. The present invention provides a composite structural element or device including, but not limited to, a cross arm or beam that can be applied in a variety of industrial and non-industrial settings including, but not limited to, the power distribution industry. |
