A toning monitor, which has an LUT mapping function and is used for performing LUT mapping on an input signal image. The toning monitor is internally provided with an LUT storage unit. The toning monitor also comprises: a receiving module, used for receiving LUT data; a parsing module, used for parsing whether the LUT data meets a preset condition, if the LUT data meets the preset condition, updating the received LUT data into the LUT storage unit and performing new LUT mapping, and if the LUT data does not meet the preset condition, discarding the LUT data; and a display module, used for displaying, according to a parsing result of the parsing module, an input signal image on which new LUT mapping has been performed.
