The present invention relates to an electric roaster which prevents internal heat from being discharged to the outside to minimize thermal loss and to prevent a burn. The electric roaster of the present invention is coupled with a plurality of heating units within a body, and comprises a heat blocking plate, forming a knob on an upper side, within the body to attach and detach the heat blocking plate by sliding for controlling the external discharge of the heat from the heating units to prevent the burn and enhance thermal efficiency, and a circumference shaped heating unit cover over the heating units to externally discharge dropping oil, whereas a pair of circumference shaped guide units are symmetrically formed over the heating units in the body and movable heating units are configured to move upwards and downwards by a protrusion unit protruding outwards in the guide units. Therefore, the present invention arranges the heat blocking plate which blocks the external discharge of high heat generated from the heating units to attach and detach the heat blocking plate within the body by sliding, thereby controlling the internal heat to minimize the thermal loss and to prevent the burn. In addition, the present invention couples the heating unit cover over the heating units to externally discharge the dropping oil, thereby preventing contamination and bad smell of the heating units. |
