The present invention relates to a display device which comprises: a display panel including multiple data lines and multiple gate lines; a data driving circuit converting image data into a gradation voltage to output the gradation voltage to the data lines; a voltage generating circuit supplying a driving voltage to the data driving circuit; and a heat prevention circuit comparing a reference voltage with a load current voltage proportional to a load current flowing toward the data driving circuit to output a control signal controlling the driving of the data driving circuit. Accordingly, the load current voltage proportional to a load current flowing toward the data driving circuit is detected to forcibly stop the driving of the data driving circuit when a load of the data driving circuit suddenly increases, thereby preventing the data driving circuit from being damaged. |
