The present invention relates to a bank transaction system which embeds user fingerprint information when a card or a bankbook is issued, and determines whether the user fingerprint information is identical to user fingerprint information preregistered in a bank terminal in case of use in order to perform a transaction and a method thereof. The bank transaction system comprises a computer body which comprises: a fingerprint storage unit which inputs and registers a fingerprint of a user; and a user authentication unit which determines whether fingerprint information stored in the card or the bankbook is identical to a fingerprint registered in the fingerprint storage unit. |
