An interlayer video decoding method, according to one disclosed embodiment, comprises the steps of: obtaining, from a bitstream, prediction mode information of a current block for constituting a depth image; generating a prediction block of the current block on the basis of the obtained prediction mode information; and decoding the depth image by using the prediction block, wherein the step of obtaining the prediction mode information of the current block from the bitstream comprises the steps of: receiving a first flag indicating whether the current block is permitted to be divided into two or more partitions, according to a pattern, and be predicted, a second flag indicating whether the depth image permits blocks for constituting the depth image to be divided into two or more partitions by bordering a wedgelet and be predicted, and a third flag indicating whether the depth image permits the blocks for constituting the depth image to be divided into two or more partitions by bordering a contour and be predicted; and receiving, from the bitstream, a fourth flag indicating information on the type of a method for dividing the current block into two or more partitions according to a pattern, only if predetermined conditions determined on the basis of the first flag, the second flag, and the third flag are satisfied. |
