A method for diagnosing a state of a fuel cell stack is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for diagnosing a state of a fuel cell stack comprises: a step of simultaneously applying currents having a first frequency and a second frequency to a fuel cell stack; a step of Fourier-transforming currents and voltages outputted from the fuel cell stack according to the applied currents; a step of using the magnitude and the phase of voltages and currents of the first frequency and the second frequency among transformed output currents and voltages to calculate an impedance of the first frequency and an impedance of the second frequency; and a step of diagnosing a state of the fuel cell stack according to the magnitude of the calculated impedance of the first frequency and the calculated impedance of the second frequency.
