The invention relates to a telescopic handle (1) for pieces of luggage, in particular travel suitcases, having an outer telescopic tube assembly (2), which is arranged on the piece of luggage in a stationary manner, an inner telescopic tube assembly (4), which can be accommodated in and pulled out of the outer telescopic tube assembly (2), and a handle part (7), which is arranged on the end (6) of the inner telescopic tube assembly (4) that can be pulled out of the outer telescopic tube assembly (2), wherein the telescopic handle (1) can be adjusted from an idle position thereof, in which the inner telescopic tube assembly (4) is accommodated in the outer telescopic tube assembly (2), to an operating position thereof, in which the inner telescopic tube assembly (4) is pulled out of the outer telescopic tube assembly (2) and the piece of luggage can be moved and steered by means of the telescopic handle (1). In order to provide the telescopic handle with significantly greater ease of use without changing the dimensions of the telescopic handle, the telescopic handle (1) according to the invention has a positioning and energy-storage device (20), by means of which the inner telescopic tube assembly (4) can be moved from a position thereof that corresponds to the idle position of the telescopic handle (1) and in which the inner telescopic tube assembly (4) is accommodated in the outer telescopic tube assembly (2) to an intermediate position, in which the inner telescopic tube assembly (4) is slightly pulled out of the outer telescopic tube assembly (2) and the handle part (7) arranged on the inner telescopic tube assembly (4) can be comfortably encircled and from which the handle part (7) can be brought into the operating position of the telescopic handle (1). According to the invention the positioning and energy-storage device (20) is integrated inside the outer (2) and inner telescopic tube assembly (4) of the telescopic handle (1). |
