ELECTROLYSIS STACK AND ELECTROLYSING DEVICE

Electrolysis stack (6) comprises several electrolytic cells (10). The electrolysis stack is electrically divided into several specific numbers of electrolytic cells comprising electrically short-circuitable segments (13) using a switching device (11). Independent claims are also included for: (1) an electrolyzer comprising the electrolysis stack or several, parallel and/or in series switched electrolysis stack, or an electrolyzer comprising several electrolysis stacks connected in series to at least one string, where the electrolysis stacks are electrically short-circuitable using the switching device, or an electrolyzer comprising several parallelly connected strings exhibiting electrolysis stacks connected in series, where the parallelly connected strings are electrically switched on/off using the switching device; and (2) a power supply system comprising a renewable power supply and the electrolyzer, where the renewable power supply is a photovoltaic plant or a wind energy plant.
