Disclosed in the present invention are a method and device for processing MPLS load sharing. The method includes that: labels in the MPLS load sharing are separated, and a tag group and IP load sharing are formed, wherein the tag group including the tags corresponding to each link; when a link failure is detected, a link switch is performed according to the IP load sharing; traffic forwarding is performed on the basis of tags in the tag group and link information in the IP load sharing. With the present invention, the problem in the related art that the packet loss time is long when a route failure occurs in the MPLS load sharing is solved, the time of instant service break caused by a link failure in the MPLS load sharing is shortened, and the service break time is independent on the route prefix number, and the more route prefix, the more obvious effect. |
