A scribe line search method and device based on an electronic map, the method comprising the steps of: when detecting that scribe lines occur on an electronic map, determining the type of scribe lines (301); according to the type, determining a target search area formed by the scribe lines on the electronic map (302); generating a candidate search area outside the target search area (303); searching a specified service object in the candidate search area (304); determining whether the service object is in the target search area (305); and if yes, then displaying the service object on the electronic map (306). The service object selected by an embodiment better meets the expectation of a user, improves the accuracy rate of searching, effectively solves the problem of long distance between the positions of the service object and the user, reduces the re-searching rate, improves the convenience of a search operation, and reduces the system resource consumption of an electronic device or a map server. |
