A method for purifying industrial waste gas by using microwaves is disclosed. The present invention relates to a method for purifying industrial waste gas by using microwaves, wherein toxic gas is removed through a heating element heated by the microwaves. The method for purifying industrial waste gas comprises the following steps: collecting the industrial waste gas; making the collected industrial waste gas pass through a filter to remove particulate matters; making the industrial waste gas from which the particulate materials are removed, penetrate through a high-temperature heating element of a removing apparatus to thermally decompose and remove volatile organic compounds; and introducing the industrial waste gas from which the volatile organic compounds are thermally decomposed and removed, into a collector into which caustic soda or ammonia was inserted to remove inorganic matters.
