摘要 The present invention relates to an antibacterial filter which uses a photocatalyst sol triggering an oxidation-reduction reaction. More specifically, the antibacterial filter has copper supported thereon to be used as a transition metal in order to increase pollutant decomposition efficiency. According to the present invention, the antibacterial filter uses a substrate which adsorbs inflowing pollutants contained in the air, decomposes the adsorbed pollutants by using a photocatalyst coating layer coated on the surface of the substrate, and eliminates bacteria in the pollutants. The photocatalyst coating layer is made of the photocatalyst sol. The photocatalyst sol is formed by mixing an alcohol-based solution, a copper precursor containing the copper used as the transition metal, a titanium precursor, an aqueous solvent, and an acid catalyst in a reactor and stirring and heating the mixture. Light is emitted to the photocatalyst sol to oxidize the copper while firstly decomposing the pollutants in the air by using a photo-oxidation decomposition reaction. The photocatalyst sol, which firstly decomposes the pollutants in the air, is then left at a room temperature to secondly decompose the pollutants in the air by using a reduction reaction of the oxidized copper.
