Methods for producing silver nanoparticles are described. In one aspect, a liquid solution is prepared that contains phenazine-1-carboxylic acid. Silver metal salt is added to the solution to produce multiple silver nanoparticles.

1. A method of producing silver nanoparticles, the method comprising:
preparing a liquid solution containing phenazine-1-carboxylic acid in an amount having a ratio of 20 mg of phenazine-1-carboxylic acid to 100 μl of the liquid solution; and adding a silver metal salt to the liquid solution in a concentration of 1 mM of the silver metal salt to the liquid solution so as to produce silver nanoparticles.
