According to the present invention, a heavy duty vehicle tire comprises: a pair of self-supporting steppers which is stepped type and opposite to a wall surface of a longitudinal groove from side to side; and a pair of hooks vertically opposite to a lower portion of the self-supporting steppers with respect to a central direction of the tire. When a load is applied to the tire, a gap between the self-supporting steppers becomes narrow, and the hooks are mutually coupled to each other, thereby improving premature wear of a tread central portion and mid-term and back-end wear of the tire, and further increasing rigidity of a block to improve driving and braking ability and handling performance. |
