The present invention relates to a vehicle AVN system using virtualization and an operating method thereof, capable of separating a physical space by using virtualization technology, and forming an area of the physical space based on Android and forming the other area of the physical space based on a suitable OS for a vehicle. According to the present invention, the vehicle AVN system includes: a space separating part separating a space with a predetermined size into at least two areas, operated by different OS, by using the virtualization method; a first information processing part performing information processing, which includes the upgrade of a first OS, the download of an application, and the execution of the application in a first area among the areas based on the first OS; and a second information processing part performing information processing, which includes the control of devices of the vehicle in a second area among the areas based on a second OS. |
