The present invention relates to a wave power generator made by making one buoyancy body into multiple partial buoyancy bodies to mount them on a marine structure to be able to move according to the movement of wave, to place them in a grid pattern, to mount a rack and a pinion instrument, which convert a linear reciprocating movement into a rotation movement, on each of the multiple partial buoyancy bodies for each of the multiple partial buoyancy bodies to be able to make a circling movement, and to mount them on the marine structure to be able to rise and fall. The present invention conveys the rotating power generated by each of the multiple partial buoyancy bodies to the power-generating unit through a power conveying means connected serially and in parallel, lets the power be conveyed to one pinion only when one rack moves upward while two racks are geared with the one pinion inbetween, and lets the power be conveyed to the one pinion only when the other rack moves downward. |
