The present invention relates to a method and system for providing a payment service by using an electronic card. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: providing a payment service by using an electronic card having a first and a second communications module which communicate according to different communications schemes, and transmitting user identification information stored in a memory via the first communications module of the electronic card; supplying power to the second communications module when an external signal is received by the first communications module; and transmitting at least one among private information, membership information and card information of a user stored in the memory via the second communications module to which power is supplied, wherein at least one among the transmitted private information, membership information and card information is received by a near-field communication (NFC) device installed at a store and then transmitted to a payment terminal device for use in payment. |
