In the present invention, disclosed are a pixel array, a display and a method for displaying an image on a display. The pixel array comprises a plurality of basic pixel units repetitively arranged in horizontal and vertical directions. Each basic pixel unit include a first sub pixel group and a second sub pixel group. The first sub pixel group comprises a first subpixel, a second subpixel and a third subpixel, whose centers are sequentially aligned at first intervals from the top toward the bottom in a vertical direction, or from the left toward the right in a horizontal direction, and each of which has a long axis located in a direction of being rotated by 45 degrees with respect to a vertical direction in a counterclockwise direction. The second sub pixel group comprises the third sub pixel, the first sub pixel and the second sub pixel, whose centers are sequentially aligned at first intervals in a direction where the first sub pixel group is aligned, and each of which has a long axis located in a direction of being rotated by 45 degrees with respect to a vertical direction in a counterclockwise direction. |
