An unmanned car rental system is provided. The unmanned car rental system comprises a rental car, a rental server, a mobile terminal, and a rental application installed in the mobile terminal, wherein the rental car, the rental server, and the mobile terminal communicate with each other through networks. A near-field communications (NFC) device including a first NFC module is installed in the rental car, and the mobile terminal includes a second NFC module. The rental application communicates with the second NFC module, and the first NFC module and the second NFC module communicate with each other via NFC. An open/close state of a door of the car changes if the mobile terminal is placed near the NFC device installed in the rental car. |
