The underbody unit for a motor vehicle of the present invention is an underbody unit for reinforcing the main frame of a motor vehicle especially between the front vehicle axis and rear vehicle axis. The underbody unit of the present invention comprises a floor main frame (12) which can be connected to the main frame of the motor vehicle to disperse a static and/or dynamic load of the main frame of the motor vehicle. Here, the floor main frame (12) comprises: a top side surface (32) substantially facing upward to support a battery cell unit (18) for forming a traction battery for driving the motor vehicle purely electrically; and, one or more cooling channels (26) for cooling the top side surface (32). Thanks to the firmly formed floor main frame (12) of the underbody unit (10), the underbody unit (10) can support the battery cell (18) of the traction battery with a supporting plate of a battery housing, can protect with a glove plating, and can actively and/or passively cool as a heat exchanger with the help of the cooling channel (26). Accordingly, the traction battery of the motor vehicle placed in the bottom area of the motor vehicle can have a long service life. |
