PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric film enabling suppression of deformation in a width direction even if extension or shrinkage occurs in a lengthwise direction.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric film 1 produces, when a voltage is applied, an expansion or contraction stress to the directions of 45° and -45° in the clockwise direction from the Y-axis direction. The piezoelectric film 1 includes a unit region 10 which includes: an electrode formation part 11 having a front and a rear surface on which electrodes are disposed; an electrode formation part 12 juxtaposed with the electrode formation part 11 in an X-axis direction and having a front and a rear surface on which electrodes are disposed in opposite polarities to the electrode formation part 11; and an electrode non-formation part 13 connected to an adjacent region on one edge in a Y-axis direction. On another edge of the unit region 10 in the Y-axis direction, there are provided notches 5 which continue from the electrode formation part 11 to the electrode formation part 12.
