PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized display device.SOLUTION: A display device 110 includes a first substrate part 10u, a second substrate part 20u, a display layer, and a driving element, the first substrate part having a first substrate 10, a display part DP, and a control circuit part 75. The first substrate 10 has a display region 10D and a peripheral region 10P. The display part DP is formed on the display region and has a plurality of first interconnections, second interconnections, and third interconnections, a switching element, and a pixel electrode. The control circuit part 75 has a first circuit part in the peripheral region. The first circuit part has third interconnection connecting lines connected to the third interconnections and a third interconnection switch. The second substrate part 20u has a second substrate 20 and a plurality of fourth interconnections L4. The display layer is formed between the first and second substrate parts. The driving element 71 is formed on the peripheral region 10P and is capable of outputting electric signals. At least a portion of the first circuit part is arranged between the driving element and the first substrate. |
