PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine cooling system capable of suppressing the thermal decomposition of ethylene glycol contained in refrigerant.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine cooling system (1) comprises: an ebullient cooling system (10); and a Rankine cycle system (20), and the Rankine cycle system (20) further includes a second gas-liquid separator (40); a steam generator (50); a first passage (110h) communicating a first gas-liquid separator with a refrigerant supply port (51) of the steam generator (50), a second passage (110g) communicating the second gas-liquid separator (40) with the refrigerant supply port (51), and a third passage (110i) communicating a refrigerant discharge port (52) of the steam generator (50) with the first gas-liquid separator; and a passage opening and closing device (200) executing first processing for opening the first passage (110h) and closing the second passage (110g) and the third passage (110i) if a temperature of refrigerant in the steam generator (50) is equal to or higher than a predetermined value after starting an internal combustion engine, and executing second processing for closing the first passage (110h) and opening the second passage (110g) and the third passage (110i) after executing the first processing. |
