PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material in which lowering of a producibility thereof is suppressed and which can package a further variety of objects to be packaged, and a method for manufacturing a package with use of the packaging material.SOLUTION: A packaging material A1 includes a base material, a cylindrical film 2 having contractility for packaging at least a part of an object 4 to be packaged, and a conjugate 3 which joins the cylindrical film 2 with the base material 1. The cylindrical film 2 has: a first cylindrical part 21 and a second cylindrical part 22 which have axial directions parallel to each other and are separated from each other in a width direction crossing the axial direction; a connection part 24 for connecting the first cylindrical part 21 and the second cylindrical part 22 to each other; and a cutting planned part 27 which is so provided as to partition the connection part 24 into a first cylindrical part side portion 24a and a second cylindrical part side portion 24b, and can be cut in a shrinkage process. |
